Modern Warfare 2 Death StreaksSo most of you have probably heard about modern warfare 2's killstreaks, but have you heard about a nifty thing called death streaks? Well let me explain what these are for all of you just finding out about modern warfare 2 death streaks. These are basically "perks" you get if you die a certain number of times without killing anyone, basically the exact opposite of a killstreak. So for all those noobs out there, there is hope. You won't just have to sit around and get shot over and over gain. Infinity Ward is out to help you, so read on to find out more about these things call modern warfare 2 death streaks!
Currently there are only two death streaks that have been announced, but I'm pretty convinced that more will be on the way. The first of these deathstreaks is something called "pain killer." You will be awarded this modern warfare 2 death streak after you are killed 3 times in a row without being able to kill anyone on the opposing team. With this modern warfare 2 deathstreak you will start with three times the normal amount of life! That is a substantial increase and if you can't kill at least one person with this deathstreak active you are either idle, or ... Anyway this is only one of the possible death streaks, another is a pretty cool thing called "copy cat" This deathstreak allows you to basically become the enemy player. You will start with his gun and his perks. This will make things much easier if you are a low level and don't have any of the good guns unlocked. Like I said these are the only modern warfare 2 deathstreaks announced now, but I believe there will be more included.
Once these things were announced I was not very happy with these things called death streaks. They sounded like a way to make the noobs better. However the more I though about it the better they started to sound. I remember when I first started call of duty 4 and I sucked. I had just started after playing halo for about 4 years and I was trying to run and gun. I became very frustrated and was about to quite, when I finally started to pick up the skills necesary to win games in call of duty 4. I look back and see that death streaks could have been very usefull for the beginners, and I think this is IW plan. They want to ease the frustration of the beginners, that way new people will continually be buying there game. This will also reduce the chances of the beginners not buying modern warfare 2. SO really in the end modern warfare 2 death streaks look lik a good installation into the game. Anyway, when you are placed on a horrible team that can't guard any of the flanks, won't you want to get the deathstreaks to turn the tide of the battle, at least until you run out of that 3x health.
