Halo 3 Weapon Combinations

Shotgun and Sniper- In Halo 3 the sniper helps kill people at long range while the shotgun is helpful if someone comes up within close range to you, you can just switch to your shotgun and take them out.

Plasma Pistol and Battle Rifle- While not as good as it was in Halo 2 it still is one of the best combinations. Walk around with a fully charged plasma pistol and then once you shoot someone with it quickly switch to your battle rifle and shoot them in the head. However in Halo 3 the plasma pistol runs out of ammo while you keep chargining it.

Sniper Rifle and Mauler- Keep the sniper rifle on and snipe until you see someone on your radar. Then quickly switch to your mauler and one they get close enought shoot then beat them down. This will result in an own that even Master Chief could enjoy.

Spartan Laser and Assault Rifle/Battle Rifle- Okay, so you get a spartan laser and one of the following, an assault rifle or a battle rifle. So your spartan laser is for taking out vechicles that may approach you. The other weapon is used for taking out any infantry that may threaten you.

Plasma Rifle and SMG or Spiker-

Plasma rifle eliminates sheilds and spiker/smg finishes the fight.

Energy Sword and Battle Rifle-This combinations works well. You can kill people from middle to close range very efficently. Remember with this combination stay near corners so if someone is coming up on you you just go behind the corner switch to your energy sword and swing when they come around.

Duel Spikers- GREAT DUEL WEILD! They can kill someone with just about half of each clip used. If you get close enough beat them down Master Chief style.

Sniper Rifle and Battle Rifle- Shoot someone once with the sniper then quicly switch to your battlerifle and shoot them in the head. Works great on any Halo 3 map.
