The m16 is one of my favorite guns in call of duty 4. If had a very high amount of damage, great range, and a good amount of spread. The only draw back to this gun is that it only shoots in bursts. However some people like the burst type shots because it allows them to shoot more accurately. If you like the m16 you should also give the call of duty 4 AK-47 a try!

 Suggested Classes for Call of Duty 4 M16

With the  M16 I suggest using the red dot scope. This will help your accuracy greatly. The perks I would use are stopping power, deep impact and bandolier. If you don't want to use bandolier I suggest using 3x stun grenades. Stopping power is a must for this gun, it allows you to kill the enemy in a single burst! Thank about it you can drop around 7 enemies in one clip. To ensure a one burst kill shoot for the enemies chest. The deep impact will allow you to take out the enemies in one burst even if they are behind cover. So if you see a sniper looking through the window, you can just shoot the window and the sniper is done! You can change out bandolier with this gun because it shoots in bursts and will allow you to conserve your ammo much better than a fully automatic gun.

How to use the Call of duty 4 M16

The M16 is probably the best call of duty 4 assault rifle. However it is useless if you do not understand how to use it! The m16 is not a CQW in call of duty 4. Leave the close quarters stuff to the SMGs. The m16 is best used like a sniper. Sit back and look down a lane of the map. Then just relax and pick them off with one burst to the chest. So please DO NOT run around the map trying to shoot people close up, you WILL die. Just have patience and sit back and own with your sweet gun!
