HALO 3 GAME TYPES 

In halo 3 there are quite a few gametypes. There is Forge, Matchmaking, Campaign, and Custom Game. There is also theater where you can view 25 of the most recent games you have played.

FORGE- In forge you may edit the map. By pressing up on your D- pad you can turn into a little monitor. While being a monitor you can press "x" and it will bring up a list of weapons. You can select the weapon you want by scrolling and pressing "a" on the weapon desired. Then you will be taken out of the menu and you will be holding the weapon you choose. By pressing "a" again you will drop it. Then change back into a human by pressing UP on your D pad and pick it up.  While being  a monitor you can press "x" then when your on the weapons menu you can press the right or left bumper and you will see many different menus. Forge is mainly trying to one up your opponents. Also, while in monitor mode you can to a number of things. You may go fast by pressing the left trigger and doing the direction you want. You may pick up things on the map by pressing "a". You may delete things by picking the thing you want to delete up then pressing "Y".  While an opponent is in a vechicle you may delete the vechicle and make the opponent start at a respawn area. You can make teleporters, crates, and many more things.

CAMPAIGN- LOCK AND LOAD SOLDIER! In Campaign you fight the covenant, flood, and many other enemies.  There are 10 levels. On the levels you can find skulls that make the game...interesting. There are 9 gold skulls and 4 silver skulls. GOLD: IRON Skull, BLACK EYE skull, TOUGH LUCK skull, CATCH skull, FOG skull, FAMINE skull, THUNDERSTORM skull,  TILT skull, MYTHIC skull. SILVER- BLIND skull, COWBELL skull, GRUNT BIRTHDAY PARTY skull, and IWHBYD skull. PLEASE click the skull tab for locations and what each does. There are many great levels on HALO 3. Some of my favorite are THE ARK, THE COVENANT, and THE STORM.

CUSTOM GAMES- You may create a custom game and invite friends to it. You can choose any game/ game type you want.

THEATER- In theater you can view the games you have played. Press "X" to get a list of options. If you hold down the right trigger you can make the film play faster. You may take screen shots and upload them to your file share.
