Halo 3 Skull Abilities
As you already probably know, there are many different skulls hiding throughout campaign levels in halo 3. However, something you may not have known and are itching to find out is what each of these skulls do to impact your game and what they do to set up a whole new halo experience. So as you can probably guess by the title, in this article I will discuss the abilities of each skull in halo 3!
Gold Skulls
Iron Skull-The Iron skulls effect is when if one person on your team dies then your whole team starts from the last checkpoint. If it is just you playing, then you must start the mission over...don't die.
Black Eye Skull- With the Black Eye skull you must beat down an enemy to regenerate your health.
Tough Luck Skull- If the Tough Luck skull is in effect, enemies dodge gernades and rocket type weapons just before it hits them.
Catch Skull- The catch skull makes enemies throw a lot more grenades. Try not to be stuck.
Fog Skull- Say good-bye to your radar.
Famine Skull- With the famine skull in effect all guns will have half their regular ammo.
Thunderstorm Skull- Makes all enemies go up one promotion.
Tilt Skull- Makes projectile weapons worse at taking down shields and plasma weapons worse at finishing an opponent. Makes flood more resistant to weapon fire.
Mythic Skull- A new game difficulty, even harder than legendary...

Silver Skulls
Blind Skull- Say good-bye to your radar, health bar, crosshair, ammo count, and gun.
Cowbell Skull- Makes explosions much larger.
Grunt Birthday Party Skull- When you shoot a grunt they burst into confetti and you hear young kids in the background screaming " YEY!!!!!"
I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull- This skull unlocks hidden dialogue during the game.
