Modern Warfare 2 Pro Perks


In call of duty 4 the only option you had for perks was to choose one from each "class" of perks.  However this changes in modern warfare 2 because of the introduction of pro perks. In modern warfare 2 you are still only given the ability to choose one perk from each class however this is where the pro perks come in handy. These allow you to basically upgrade a perk. You unlock pro perks by using the basic perk and performing what it is meant to do, so if the perk scavenger is applied you rank it up by picking up ammo, if stopping power is used you unlock pro stopping power by killing people while using stopping power, etc...pro perks allow you get unlock a new ability for each perk which we will go through here.


Pro Perk Marathon
Usually marathon give you unlimited spring however when you go pro with marathon you are given the ability to climb over obstacles much faster than normal giving you a cool ability if you unlock pro marathon.

Pro Perk Sleight of Hand

Pro sleight of hand is a very interesting perk, usually sleight of hand allows you to reload faster however when you get pro sleight of hand you are given the ability to bring up your aiming sights faster giving you the edge in quick scope battles.

Pro Perk Scavenger

Pro Scavenger basically replaces bandolier as if gives you extra clips, the non pro ability of scavenger allows you to pick up ammo off the ground.

Pro Perk Bling

The Bling perk allows you to add two attachments to your main weapons however once you get pro bling perk and its ability you are given the ability of putting two attachments on your secondary weapons as well as your main one.

Pro Perk One Man Army

One man army is another very interesting perk, usually one man army allows you to switch your classes while alive, replacing your secondary weapons, however one man army pro allows you to switch your classes even faster!

Custom Slot 2 Perks

Pro Perk Stopping Power

Usually stopping power add...well stopping power to your weapons however stopping power pro heightens its ability to the air allowing your weapons to do more damage to vehicles as well.

Pro Perk Lightweight

Leight weight allows you person to move faster, once you unlock lightweight pro you will be able to aim faster after sprinting.

Pro Perk Cold Blooded

Cold blooded in its regular form disable enemy UAV, Airsupport, and thermal sights from seeing you, once you place cold blooded pro on you are basically invisible from enemy as the enemies reticle won't turn red from seeing you, your name will also not pop up.

Pro Perk Hardline

Hardling un pro allows you to get killstreaks with one less kill, once you unlock hardline pro you will be able to unlock deathstreaks with one less death.

Pro Perk Danger Close

Danger close increases the blast radius of explosive weapons like noob tubes and grenades. If you get danger close pro you will increase air supports blast radius too.

Custom Slot 3 Perks

Pro Perk Ninja

Ninja is a great perk,especially if the entire enemy team is using heart beat sensors. This perks makes  you disappear off their hear beat sensors. Ninja pro allows you to make no noises while sneaking up on the enemy.

Pro Perk Steady Aim

Steady aim increases your hip fire accuracy, one you unlock steady aim pro you will be able to hold your breath for a longer duration!

Pro Perk Scrambler

Scrambler perk disables the enemies UAV when they come close to you, scrambler pro makes enemy claymores explode slower than normal allowing you to escape their wraith.

Pro Perk Commando

Commando perk increases the distance of your knife attack, once you unlock commando pro you will be given the ability to not take damage while falling.

Pro Perk Last Stand

Last stand allows you to make a final effort to get some kills and killstreaks, once you get last stand pro you will be able to use equipment like grenades while in last stand.

Pro Perk SitRep

SitRep will show you the location of enemy explosives and tactical insertions, SitRep pro makes enemy footsteps louder.
